Vocational Counselor

The vocational counselor will provide supported employment and pre-Employment/Work readiness services to adults and students with disabilities, supporting them in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment. Responsibilities include providing one-On-One vocational counseling, facilitating classes, conducting site visits, and acting as a liaison between employees, employers, and supervisors.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and one year of relevant experience in placement, counseling, or human services working with individuals with disabilities, or an equivalent combination approved by acces-Vr. Required attributes include strong communication skills, computer literacy, organizational ability, and a valid nys driver's license with reliable transportation.
