Job description

  • The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a Cheer/Gymnastics Instructors for our recreational cheer and gymnastics program (preschool and school aged).
  • Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and dependable.
  • A background in teaching gymnastics, tumbling, or cheerleading is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Candidates must enjoy working with children and have a positive attitude!
  • We offer excellent training and pay.
  • We are offering $260 bonus for new staff!
  • Job Responsibilities: Assists director in class routines and attendance tracking Assists director in providing coaching and leadership to all participants Assists director in communication with families Job Requirements: Preferred background in gymnastics and/or cheerleading Ability to relate well to children and teens Positive, enthusiastic and respectful attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Creative, caring, and committed Desire to continuously learn and improve Ability to pass reference check, pre-employment drug screen, background check, and sex offender check Pay Rate: $13.00 to $14.00/hourly About Us: We are a not-for-profit services Association focusing on mission driven initiatives, with a vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities throughout 7 Texas Counties.
