Job Summary St Francis Borgia Catholic School, is seeking a caring, dependable, and faith-filled Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in fostering a positive, Christ-centered learning environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, collaborative, and committed to the mission of Catholic education, assisting in the academic, social, and spiritual development of students.

Job Responsibilities The Classroom Aide works under the direction of the classroom teacher to support daily instructional activities, reinforce learning concepts, and provide individualized or small-group assistance.

Responsibilities include preparing materials, supervising students during classroom activities, supporting diverse learners, and helping maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment.This role also includes assisting with classroom organization, monitoring student behavior in accordance with school policies, and supporting students during transitions, lunch, recess, and school-wide events as needed.

The Classroom Aide models Christian values in word and action and contributes positively to the spiritual life of the school community through participation in prayer and school liturgies.Job Requirements Strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

The successful candidate demonstrates a genuine love for working with children and a willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and staff.

High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred

Commitment to the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church

Practicing Catholic preferred

Ability to pass required background checks and complete diocesan safe environment training
