Summer Swim Team Coach

The assistant summer swim coach assists the head coach by conducting effective and progressive swim practices for youth members and guests, ensuring constant vigilance and safety on the pool deck. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, greeting participants, communicating progress to parents, and strictly following all assigned guidelines and aquatic policies.

Candidates must be able to actively participate in practice, demonstrate proper swim techniques, and swim confidently in both deep and shallow water environments, often in warm and humid conditions. Preferred qualifications include safety training for swim coaches (Stsc) or an expired red cross wsi certification, though prior teaching experience may substitute.
