Special Education Teacher - new grads welcome to apply

The special education teacher is responsible for developing and managing each student’s individualized educational program while providing instructional leadership to classroom staff, collaborating closely with bcbas and bts to align goals with behavioral supports. Key duties include identifying student needs, preparing lessons aligned to iep goals, assessing performance, serving as teacher of record, and partnering daily with bcbas on objectives and documentation.

Candidates must possess a master's degree and a washington state teaching certificate with a special education endorsement, or the ability to qualify for one. Required attributes include strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, and willingness to be trained in physical management and crisis response procedures.
