Position Overview
The Bonner Leader Program at Ursinus College offers federal work-study eligible students the opportunity to engage in an developmental experience based on service and learning. Bonner Leaders commit to 280 hours of meaningful community service per academic year while developing leadership skills, civic responsibility, and professional experience.

Essential Responsibilities
- Commit to 8-10 hours of community engagement per week at designated community partner sites
- Participate in weekly Bonner cohort meetings and leadership development workshops
- Document service hours and activities in BWBRS (Bonner Web-Based Reporting System) and on bi-weekly timesheets via Oracle
- Assist in planning and implementing service projects and events
- Engage in critical reflection about service experiences and social issues
- Serve as an ambassador for the Bonner Program and Ursinus College in the community
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study as determined by Financial Aid
- Demonstrated commitment to community service and social justice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and grow through community engagement experiences
- Ability to commit to the program for the full academic year
