The Graduate Assistant will primarily assist with basic instruction and monitoring of pre-medical and health professional clinical skills development for undergraduate and sometimes graduate students. This includes preparing materials, setting up labs, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and overseeing make-up work for absent students.
The role requires assisting the course instructor with all aspects of clinical skills laboratories, including pre-class preparation, on-site monitoring of student skills and behavior, and post-class cleanup. The assistant must also perform various administrative tasks and serve as an ambassador for cohort events.
