Special Education Teacher

The teacher will evaluate, monitor, and track the progress of children, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and will test abilities to determine realistic goals. Responsibilities also include recording evaluation and progress information using the emr system and writing detailed analysis and reports.

Candidates must possess current new york state licensure and/Or certification in special education, including nys teaching certification in b-2nd grade students with disabilities or permanent certification in special education. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with early childhood experience and comfort using computer systems.
