Teacher of the Deaf

The teacher of the deaf will provide academic, social, and developmental support for young children (Birth to five) in various early childhood settings. Key duties include conducting educational assessments, designing appropriate lessons based on the family's chosen communication method, and leading multidisciplinary team goal setting.

Candidates must possess the required nys teacher of the deaf certificate and preferably hold certification for birth to 2nd grade students with disabilities. Prior experience in early childhood intervention and working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred.
