Core responsibilities
The special education itinerant teacher will work one-On-One with children aged 3-5 with developmental delays, traveling to their preschool programs to deliver instruction and support. Responsibilities also include collaborating with families and multi-Disciplinary teams to develop goals and maintain required documentation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a valid nys teacher certification for students with disabilities (Birth – grade 2) or be a certified special education teacher (Permanent). Successful completion of all required background checks for nyc and nys programs is mandatory.
