Special Education Teacher

The teacher will evaluate, monitor, and track the progress of children, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and must test abilities to determine realistic goals. Responsibilities also include recording evaluation and progress information accurately using the emr system and writing detailed analysis and reports.

Candidates must possess current new york state licensure and/Or certification in special education, along with a valid driver's license and nys teaching certification for b-2nd grade students with disabilities or permanent special education certification. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and knowledge of ms word and comfort with computer systems are required.
