Preschool Teacher - Floater

The support/Floater teacher implements and supervises safe classroom activities based on the lead teacher's plan to promote children's emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development, often covering various classrooms as needed due to staffing flexibility. Duties include assisting with educational experiences emphasizing the jcc jewish curriculum, creative curriculum, and sutq standards, maintaining a safe environment, and actively engaging with children during all activities.

Candidates need a minimum of a high school education, though a cda, aa, or bs in early childhood development or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of two years of experience working with young children. Physical requirements include the ability to keep up with active children, lift up to 25 pounds, run, sit on the floor, and maintain high energy levels throughout the day.
