Preschool Teacher - Floater

The support/Floater teacher will follow the lead teacher's plan to implement and supervise safe classroom activities that promote the emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of children, often covering other classrooms as needed due to staffing flexibility. Duties include assisting with educational experiences emphasizing the jcc jewish curriculum, creative curriculum, and heggerty, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Candidates need a minimum of a high school education, though a cda, aa, or bs in early childhood development or elementary education is preferred, along with at least two years of experience working with young children. The role requires physical ability to keep up with active children, including lifting up to 25 pounds, sitting on the floor, and maintaining high energy levels throughout the day.
