Camp Specialist

The camp specialist is tasked with creating a safe environment and developing an appropriate curriculum for their assigned specialty area under the direction of the summer camp director. Essential functions include ensuring camper safety through supervision, planning and implementing daily age-Appropriate lesson plans, and maintaining equipment and property.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess three years of prior experience in camping, recreation, teaching, or childcare, along with specific knowledge and certification in their specialty area. Required qualifications also include cpr/Aed and first aid certification, excellent human relations skills, and a commitment to the ymca's mission and core values.
