SA Counselor

The primary role involves assisting the lead teacher in planning, preparing, and implementing the classroom curriculum based on rhode island early learning and development standards. Essential functions include establishing positive rapport with children and families, maintaining classroom health and safety standards, and ensuring active supervision of all children.

Candidates must have three months of experience working in a classroom environment and be at least 16 years old, with the ability to obtain cpr and first aid certification within three months of hiring. All applicants must meet dcyf and ymca employment qualifications, including passing background checks and completing required child abuse prevention training.
