Overview

  • OSF Saint Francis Medical Center’s Dental Residency Program is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attending Dentist to join our esteemed team at the Medical Center’s hospital dental clinic in Peoria, IL.
  • You will play a crucial role in supervising dental residents, reviewing treatment plans, and managing patient care.

  • Job Specifics Supervise dental residents and provide guidance in their professional development, primarily in the hospital clinic setting.
  • In collaboration with residents and hygienists, develop, review and approve patient treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of residents' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in didactic/educational sessions to enhance residents' knowledge and skills.
  • Proficiency in all areas of general dentistry, particularly (or especially) basic oral surgery and management of the medically complex patient.
  • Comfortably treat patients in an operating room (OR) setting Participate in on-call duties alongside residents.

Preferred Qualifications
