  • Description Lowcountry Therapy is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric clinic with locations in both Bluffton and Port Royal, SC.
  • We provide services in both of our Bluffton and Port Royal clinics customized for sensory and play.
  • We also provide services in the community including both in-home and private pre-schools and daycares.
  • Our diverse caseload offers an excellent opportunity for a variety of treatment approaches.

  • We accept entry-level therapists and the pay range is based on experience and productivity.

Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 with a 2-year commitment

Requirements

An average day for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist: Conducting Initial Evaluation including a comprehensive evaluation of documentation, formal occupational therapy tests, and other relevant tests to be able to establish a plan of care Completing and individualized Plan of Care which defines treatment rendered, frequency of treatment and measurable short- and long-term goals Implements treatment and interventions to help children with disabilities participate fully in schools and social situations and/or recovering from injury to regain skills. Consultation provides consultation and educational and other advisory services to the patient, family members and caregivers. To hearing impaired individuals, screening of hearing, limited to pass/fail determination and screening of other skills for the purpose of occupational therapy evaluations. Re-evaluation- constantly reevaluates the patient to determine the efficacy of the care and adjusts the plan accordingly by modifying the treatment and adjusting the goals Documentation- Maintains all patient documentation including initial evaluation, plan of care, daily progress notes and discharge notes We have: A dedication to providing the highest quality therapy, designed to serve each child's potential A passion for empowering the participation of family and caregivers in the therapy process A commitment to empowering children to participate in life's activities A commitment to support the growth of our professional team through clinical excellence and continued education A year-long mentorship program for new graduates Multidisciplinary teamwork- including weekly team meetings and team-building events A passion for community involvement
