PACE Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The cota implements occupational therapy programs under the supervision of an occupational therapist to help pace patients maintain independence and safety in the community. They evaluate treatment effectiveness and guide patients and caregivers in using adaptive devices and therapeutic activities.

Candidates must be certified as an occupational therapy assistant in california and have at least 2 years of experience working with the geriatric population. Bls/Cpr certification and strong communication skills are also required.
