Youth Development Center Teaching Assistants

Teaching assistants will nurture and educate children aged 0-5 by implementing age-Appropriate curriculum and weekly lesson plans written by the classroom teacher. Key duties include prioritizing child safety, fostering positive parent communication, and maintaining a clean, organized learning environment.

Candidates should embody ymca values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, with prior experience in early childhood or education settings being beneficial. Cpr & first aid certification and child abuse prevention training must be completed within 90 days of hire, with training provided by the ymca.
