Paraeducator

The primary responsibility is to assist the special education teacher by working with individual students or small groups to help them reach skill levels appropriate for their capabilities. This role supports the educational goals set by the teacher within a student-Centered environment.

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements for title 1 schools, which include possessing an associate's degree, a minimum of 48 college credit hours, or successfully completing the para test. Employment is for 7 hours per day across 9 months of the year.
