Assistant Toddler Teacher

This position involves assisting the lead teacher with all classroom activities, including implementing age-Appropriate curriculum to foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children. Key duties include supervising children, maintaining a positive classroom environment, supporting behavior management, and assisting with daily routines and parent communication.

Candidates must be at least eighteen years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with knowledge of child development and experience in child development centers; an ece initial certificate or equivalent is required, with an associate of arts in early childhood education preferred. Applicants must pass a dcyf background check, register in merit, and possess required certifications like food handler’s, first aid, and cpr upon hire.
