Paraprofessional

The primary role involves providing supplemental instructional support to eligible students by delivering interventions based on teacher-Developed plans, including small group or individualized instruction. Responsibilities also include administering assessments, monitoring progress, maintaining student records, and ensuring confidentiality.

Candidates must meet specific educational criteria, such as completing two years of higher education (60 semester hours) or obtaining an associate's degree or higher. Alternatively, they must pass an approved formal state academic assessment demonstrating knowledge in reading, writing, and mathematics instruction assistance.
