Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting Program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
  • Certifications:
  • CCMA and/or
  • RMA and/or
  • CMA
  • At least three years of experience in the field of (complete based on position as per accrediting and licensing agency standards – or delete if general education position)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
