School Nurse

The school nurse is responsible for identifying and treating student health concerns and referring students to appropriate resources as needed. Responsibilities include managing individual health needs, providing nursing care, and acting as a liaison between families and health care providers.

Candidates must be a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree and have 1-2 years of experience in a school setting. Additional requirements include licenses from the minnesota department of education and board of nursing, as well as cpr and first aid certifications.
