Teacher of the Deaf

The teacher of the deaf will provide academic, social, and developmental support for children ages birth to five. Responsibilities include educational assessments, lesson design, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement individual goals.

A nys teacher of the deaf certificate is required, with a preference for a birth-2nd grade students with disabilities certification. Prior experience in early childhood intervention and working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing is preferred.
