Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a valid new york state teacher certification, along with a proven track record in planning lessons with clear objectives and assessment methods. Essential qualifications include strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrated content knowledge aligned with state standards, and success in tailoring instruction for diverse learners.
