NYCPS Special Education Teacher (New Visions Affinity Network)

Teachers will develop relevant and accessible content-Based curriculum and assess student growth using both formal and informal data. They are also expected to build academic and socio-Emotional skills, advocate for student supports, and support post-High school transition plans.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a master's degree preferred, along with a valid new york state teacher certification. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in planning lessons with clear objectives, tailoring instruction for diverse learners, and working collaboratively.
