Adjunct Faculty - COM/ENG

The adjunct faculty member will inspire and engage students by delivering courses aligned with the faculty workload policy and baker college learning model, bringing creativity and innovation to the classroom. Responsibilities also include assessing student learning, providing feedback, suggesting curriculum enhancements, and contributing to the academic community.

A master’s degree in english, literature, composition, rhetoric, writing, or a related subfield (Including journalism or mfa in creative writing) is required, or any master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in relevant communications fields; a doctorate is preferred. Candidates must have experience in higher education teaching/Curriculum design and proficiency with lms like canvas and standard office/Internet tools.
