  • Ability to obtain fingerprinting ($65)
  • Ability to obtain a negative TB test ($60)
  • Ability to obtain CPR card within 30 days and complete all state mandated coursed within 30 days
  • High School Diploma at minimum, C.D.A., Associates, or Bachelor's preferred
  • Reliable Transportation (please see location)
  • Able to work any shift between 7:00 am- 6:00 pm

Responsibilities

  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, early literacy, etc. ) to build young children's development.
  • Help toddlers to improve their social competencies and build self-esteem and self help skills
  • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
  • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
  • Collaborate with other educators
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment

  • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and early childhood educational methods
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills
