F45 Training Bay Shore is seeking a technically skilled, energetic and highly motivated Group Fitness Coach to join our team and community! This role is ideal for coaches who take pride in delivering elite training sessions, building meaningful member relationships, and bringing high energy to every class.

At F45 Bay Shore, our coaches deliver a personal-training experience within a group class environment, with a strong emphasis on movement quality, coaching presence, and community connection.

Responsibilities

  • Coach Elite-Level F45 Sessions
  • Deliver high-quality group training with clear coaching cues
  • Provide accurate regressions, progressions, and modifications
  • Ensure safety and correct form throughout class
  • Lead the session with strong presence, clarity, and energy
  • Engage Members & Build Community
  • Welcome members by name
  • Build meaningful relationships and positive member experiences
  • Create high-energy, inclusive environments
  • Support trialers and new members with confidence and enthusiasm
  • Maintain Operational Excellence
  • Support studio class setup
  • Maintain studio cleanliness to F45 Bay Shore standards
  • Attend bi-monthly team-training and coaching development sessions
  • Uphold all F45 Bay Shore coaching standards and expectations

Qualifications

  • Required Skills & Experience
  • Prior group fitness, personal training, or athletic/sport coaching experience
  • Strong understanding of functional movement, HIIT, and other training principles
  • Confident leading groups and speaking loudly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a room of up to 36 people with authority and positivity
  • Passion for helping people improve their fitness and lifestyle
  • Required Certifications
  • Nationally accredited personal training and/or group fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA, etc.)
  • Current First Aid / CPR/ AED certification
  • Performance Attributes
  • Integrity and reliability (punctual, prepared, consistent)
  • High energy and strong stage presence
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to give clear, corrective feedback safely
  • Desire to grow, learn, and receive constructive feedback
  • Professionalism in all interactions
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 75+ pounds
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises
  • Ability to participate in and lead high-intensity workouts
  • Schedule Expectations
  • Ability to coach at least 6 classes per week consistently
  • Must be available for weekday evenings and/or weekend mornings
