Core responsibilities
The community habilitation specialist will provide meaningful instruction to individuals to enhance their community living skills and assist with daily living activities. They will also support individuals in accessing community services and developing independent travel skills.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid new york state driver's license. Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and identify community resources.
