Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABA Tech)

The aba technician participates in implementing the aba benefit for eligible individuals diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder, primarily within the autism program. Services are delivered in outpatient clinic settings and in-Home, requiring interventions to be overseen by a bcba or other qualified professional.

Candidates must have completed at least 25 college semester hours in relevant fields like psychology or education and must complete the agency-Provided registered behavior technician (Rbt) course within two months or provide certification upon hire. Additional requirements include possessing a valid michigan driver’s license, current auto insurance, and the ability to meet essential physical demands such as lifting up to 35lbs and standing for extended periods.
