Special Education Teacher - Elementary

The teacher must plan and execute classroom instruction tailored to meet the educational needs of students diagnosed with autism and related disabilities. This involves working with related services specialists to foster cognitive, social/Emotional, and language growth by implementing ieps, bips, and pbs strategies.

Candidates are required to possess an active new jersey state license as a teacher of students with disabilities (Tswd) or teacher of the handicapped (Toh). Preferred qualifications include experience with applied behavior analysis, along with demonstrated creativity, ambition, leadership, and the ability to manage a team of paraprofessionals.
