Middle School Special Education Teacher | Cedar Rapids Prep

The teacher will spearhead the implementation and monitoring of individual education plans (Ieps) through targeted small-Group and one-On-One instruction, while collaborating with general education teachers in inclusive settings. Responsibilities also include collecting and analyzing academic and behavior data to adjust services and fostering student confidence, independence, and self-Advocacy.

Candidates must possess a valid iowa teaching license with a special education endorsement (Instructional strategist i or ii) and have completed an approved special education preparation program. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience working with special education needs and demonstrated knowledge of special education foundations, behavior management, and inclusive practices.
