The instructional paraprofessional/1

1 aide will provide individualized assistance to students with diverse learning needs, implementing instructional strategies as directed by the special education teacher to meet iep goals. Responsibilities also include assisting with classroom management, preparing materials, supporting personal care needs such as toileting and lifting, and collecting data on student progress.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred, and must pass an approved criminal history review from the nj dept. Of ed. Essential qualifications include previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, knowledge of instructional accommodations, strong interpersonal skills, and the physical ability to lift students up to 70 pounds.
