Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher

The esy teacher will provide direct instruction in reading, math, and social skills tailored to student iep goals, while also planning challenging lessons and maintaining a productive learning environment. Responsibilities include supervising students during various activities, monitoring progress using data tools, and consulting with related service providers.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a current valid new jersey teacher certificate, with a preference for certification as a teacher of the handicapped or teacher of students with disabilities. Preferred qualifications include two years of successful special education teaching experience and the ability to direct the work of others.
