Teacher- Early Head Start

The early head start teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate educational program to provide comprehensive quality services meeting the individual needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. This includes assessing child development, setting goals, planning individualized curriculum, and overseeing the health and safety of all center-Based children.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma and one year of progressive, related experience, along with specific maryland state department of education certifications including the childcare center director certification and 90-Hour child care certification. Candidates must also be able to use microsoft word and outlook software.
