Teacher- Early Head Start

The early head start teacher contributes to planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate educational program to provide comprehensive quality services meeting the individual needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Essential functions include assessing child development, setting goals, planning individualized curriculum, assisting with coaching for special needs inclusion, and overseeing the health and safety of all center-Based children.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and one year of progressive, related experience, along with proficiency in microsoft word and outlook software. Required certifications include the maryland state department of education childcare center director certification and the 90-Hour child care certification with a 4-Hour infant/Toddler certification, with a cda credential required within six months of hire.
