Responsibilities

and Duties:

  • Assist in creating and maintaining a room arrangement that is clean, interesting, and stimulating so the child may explore and grow.
  • Assist with gathering the necessary teaching materials before they are needed.
  • Ensure children are supervised at all times - in the classroom, lunchroom, bathroom, and on the playground.
  • Assist with the children's care, such as changing clothes, washing hands, tying shoes, and more.
  • Perform other functions, as directed, relevant to the position.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Complete DCF Training hours in a specified period of time
  • First Aid/Infant/Child CPR within the required time frame of the specific program.
  • Bilingual (Preferred)
  • Level 2 Background check and drug test
  • Authorization to work in the USA
  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
