Summer - Teacher Assistant - Preschool (Sp. Ed. Private School)

The teacher assistant supports the classroom teacher in the overall supervision of children, many with special needs, ensuring their health and safety under the direction of supervisors. This role involves direct interaction with children and families, assisting with program implementation, record keeping, and maintaining a clean and organized site.

A high school diploma or equivalency is required, with a child development associate (Cda) or florida child care professional credential (Fccpc) being preferred. Candidates must complete required department of children and families training if applicable, possess current first aid/Infant/Child cpr certification, and ideally have prior experience working with children.
