Responsibilities
- and Duties:
- Assist in creating and maintaining a room arrangement that is clean, interesting, and stimulating so the child may explore and grow.
- Assist with gathering the necessary teaching materials before they are needed.
- Ensure children are supervised at all times - in the classroom, lunchroom, bathroom, and on the playground.
- Assist with the children's care, such as changing clothes, washing hands, tying shoes, and more.
- Perform other functions, as directed, relevant to the position.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Complete DCF Training hours in a specified period of time
- First Aid/Infant/Child CPR within the required time frame of the specific program.
- Bilingual (Preferred)
- Level 2 Background check and drug test
- Authorization to work in the USA
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
