Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with the planning and execution of cultural holidays, awareness months, and related events Support and attend student trainings, workshops, and Student Belonging programs Be available to assist with after-hours events, projects, and special initiatives as needed Develop and implement student incentive strategies, including swag distribution and giveaway systems Complete daily rounds of Student Belonging spaces: turn on lights, play music, set up games, and ensure the space feels welcoming Maintain and update the Student Belonging calendar with upcoming events from student organizations Support departmental initiatives and perform other duties as assigned Physical Job Components Light to moderate lifting of files, supplies and office materials Able to use office and telecommunications equipment Walking required; traveling may be expected at times Preparation, Knowledge and skills and abilities Must be enrolled in a graduate degree program at Nichols College. Efficient time management skills Ability and desire to communicate and work effectively with students daily is a must Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational and management skills Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and travel logistics. Proficient with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook Qualifications
