- SUMMARY: Must be registered and enrolled in a Nichols College graduate degree program and maintain a 3.0 GPA. This graduate assistant position is a 24-month, 20 hour/week position; summers and winter break are not included.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with advisors to create and manage files for new students requesting learning accommodations. Oversee the Test Proctoring process for students with accommodations. Review proctored test requests Schedule, confirm and monitor proctored tests Communicate with faculty to obtain and return tests Work with transfer students (who are not enrolled in SEM 139) on transitional support such as training in registration procedures prior to course selection. Track data for reporting purposes: visits, accommodations, etc. Identify and contact students who have been out of school for more than 6 months and have not completed degree requirements. Identify what student needs to complete degree; propose plan Schedule consultations with students and Advising/Registrar. Work on digitization project for Central New England files Support office with ongoing record retention project (file clean up) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED: Discretion and judgement with sensitive information Strong written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
