- SUMMARY: Nichols College, a member of the NCAA Division III located in Dudley, Massachusetts (Central MA), invites applications for a Graduate Assistant position with Strength and Conditioning, beginning August 2026. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required. Candidates must also apply for and be accepted into a Nichols College graduate program. This position includes a stipend.
Duties and Responsibilities
CSCS credential, certified or plan to certify within 3 months of starting position. Previous experience in a strength and conditioning coaching environment (collegiate weight room, private sector, or personal trainer) is preferred. Assist with the physical development of student athletes. Collaborate and communicate with athletic training staff and sport coaches. Design, implement, and supervise strength and conditioning programs of male and female student-athlete. Provide and/or assist coaches with technique instruction in strength training and program design within the scope of the sport. Follow all NCAA, CNE, and Division of Athletics guidelines. All other duties as assigned by the Head Strength Coach or Athletic Directors or athletic division staff.
