Teacher

The teacher is responsible for providing a safe, stimulating environment that meets head start standards and implementing lesson plans designed to prepare children for kindergarten readiness. Key duties include developing curriculum, assessing child development using the work sampling system, and actively encouraging parent involvement.

A minimum requirement is an associate’s degree in education, with early childhood education being preferred, alongside one year of classroom experience, which is also preferred. Candidates should possess strong problem-Solving skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations, including at-Risk populations.
