Mentor/Education Coach

The mentor/Education coach is responsible for regular contact, observation, modeling, coaching, and mentoring of staff, providing feedback on common problems to design intervention strategies. This role supports the agency's school readiness framework by assisting head start and early head start staff in developing learning environments using curriculum and planning educational experiences.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, along with at least two years of teaching experience demonstrating traits of a lead teacher. Required competencies include demonstrated knowledge of early childhood best practices, evaluations, observations, and assessments, plus the ability to obtain specific certifications like pre-K class reliability.
