Head Start Teacher

The teacher implements head start performance standards for children aged 3-5, actively supervising and ensuring a safe classroom and outdoor play environment while applying early childhood development theory in daily activities. Responsibilities also include developing integrated curriculum plans, establishing weekly educational goals, and coordinating with support staff to meet individual child needs.

Candidates must possess an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field with equivalent coursework, supported by transcripts. Required qualifications include strong communication skills, knowledge of computer basics, and the ability to obtain cpr & first aid certification within 30 days of employment.
