Kids Country is currently in search of full-time Preschool Lead Teacher to join our Early Preschool classroom! (3-4 Year Olds)

What your days will look like as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Kids Country

  • Interact and build relationships with students Develop and implement lesson plans that promote the emotional, social, physical and intellectual growth of your students Collaborate with your fellow teachers and local schools to offer special interest clubs (STEM, Cooking Club, etc.) that will spark curiosity and reinforce the skills students are being taught in school Supervise classrooms and maintain a fun and interactive environment for all- Monitor the development of each child and communicate progress with parents
  • Work 1:1 with students - Lead activities such as arts/crafts, science experiments, and gym games

Qualifications

Teaching degree, or close to completing degree OR CDA Certification 1+ year experience in a childcare center Lead Teacher Qualified by Rule 3 in Minnesota Outgoing personality and a passion for teaching Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and families

1 student ratio! As the Co-Lead Preschool Teacher, your focus will be on helping our early preschoolers prepare for the adventure of a lifetime in Kindergarten! You’ll work with the Assistant Teachers assigned to your classroom to create innovative lesson plans that will ensure each child has the academic tools they’ll need.
