Social Emotional Specialist

This role involves providing social and emotional wellness strategies to staff, children, and families, while overseeing the development and implementation of a research-Based coaching strategy for children with challenging behaviors. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, providing in-Class interventions, offering stress-Reducing strategies to staff and parents, and facilitating referrals to community mental health providers.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as behavioral health, special education, or early childhood education, along with one year of experience working with children and families. Essential requirements include administrative management skills, the ability to work with a diverse population, basic computer skills, and mandatory clearances, physical exam, and tuberculosis screening.
