Apprentices will receive paid, hands-on experience assisting skilled teachers with the care and learning of children ranging from 6 weeks through 12 years old in on-site facilities. Training covers essential areas like safe work practices, child development, nutrition, hygiene, behavior guidance, curriculum planning, and family engagement.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a High School Diploma, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Essential steps include enrolling in the required Technical Diploma program at MPTC or MATC and successfully passing multiple background checks, including a physical and TB test.
